May I use this product for commercial work?

You may use the assets in all of the Map Builders and brush packs for commercial projects such as a map to include in a fantasy novel, or for marketing and branding for a client; as long as you credit “The Map Effects Fantasy Map Builder” for the original illustrations. But, as the map designer, you will retain full rights to the original design itself. You may not resell or redistribute the assets in this pack in any way, including the creation of a physical version of the map builder or digital tile sets.

Are the brushes compatible with GIMP or other drawing apps not listed?

We only gurantee compatibility with the apps listed on the sale page for each map builder and brush pack. While GIMP and some other drawing apps will import the .abr file designed for Photoshop, you will need to modify the stamp brushes in the fantasy map builders regarding their scale. Other modifications will also need to be made for the drawing brushes and seamless pattern brushes for floors, grids, & hatching in order to replicate how they would function in Photoshop.

However, when you purchase one of the map builders you will also receive the png files of all the brushes, which you can either convert into brushes or bring into your map as png files.

Can you import the brushes into Wonderdraft?

Yes, you can import the included png files of all of the map builder brushes. But, you will need to do them individually as it’s not automatically compatible.
