Arthurian Realm
A Hand-Drawn Map of the Mythical Land of King Arthur and His Knights of the Round Table
Set in a Britain that stood at the edge of the known world, Arthur’s story emerges from a time when the structures of Rome had become a memory, and what remained was shaped by legend. It is likely that Arthur was rooted in a real figure, yet the stories that followed carried him far beyond a 5th-century war leader… transforming him, through centuries of retelling, into the greatest of kings. What remains is not a single story, but a tradition.
From his seat of power at Camelot to his fall at Camlann, these places form a landscape defined as much by symbolism as by geography. Each retelling adds new layers to the legend, until Arthur becomes not only a figure of the past, but a lasting image of kingship… and of the fragile order it seeks to uphold.
This map honors a land where real regions and remembered places exist side by side… where Avalon lingers just beyond reach, and where the boundary between what was and what is told remains open.
